It took Led Zeppelin a long time to rock 'n roll - but when they rock, they blow you away! It took the death of Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun for the three surviving members of Led Zeppelin, plus John Bonham's son, Jason, to reconvene for a one-off tribute show at London's O2 in 2007. Five years on, there's finally a chance for the 20 million people who couldn't get tickets to hear and see what they missed: An evening of absolute awesomeness featuring the best of the best that the rockers have recorded. Our favourites were Black Dog, Misty Mountain Hop, and Kashmir. And an absolute yes to the first live outing for the song, For Your Life. This 2 CD & 1 DVD set is an absolute brilliant piece of work that is a must for all rock and Led Zep fans.
Each member summed up his experience in a short sentence: Wynand Myburgh: “This will, without a doubt, be the best video yet!” Francois van Coke: “I think this might be the most exciting video yet. There will be tortoises, bugs, sunbeds and some slow mo stuff.” Jason Oosthuizen: “Breaking stuff and sun burning was great.” Jedd Kossew: “I like the rotating live shots.” The band also won a grant to make a music video for Buitenkant II as part of MK’s MVP initiative. This video is a take on the movie, Drive, starring Ryan Gosling. They worked on this project with Groundglass, one of South Africa’s leading director-based film production companies. We always suspected Garbage singer Shirley Manson had balls. Seriously. When they toured South Africa way back in the 90s, she stopped the Cape Town show after someone threw a bottle of water on stage. We were like, "wow, she has the power!" And now it seems we were correct! According to reports the singer launched a verbal attack on some of her fans on Twitter. The front woman got involved in a expletive-laden argument with several followers after she was criticised over comments about a recent gig. Manson had previously described fans at a Koln gig as "cold" and "subdued", which led to some fans voicing their disappointment. Talking about the Monday (November 26) gig, Shirley tweeted: "Koln you were so strangely subdued! Sold out show but so cold? Funny. I know you love us but why couldn't you show it? We still love you." One follower wrote back: "do you really think it's alright to publicly criticise your fans, who've paid to go to your gig, for not worshiping you enough? (sic)", to which Manson simply replied: "oh PULEASe BLOW ME." Another wrote: "I'm sorry Shirley, I own every record you've released & love your music but my estimation of you has hit the floor." Manson responded: "You can blow me too." Manson continued her rant, saying: "f**king read what I wrote instead of having a knee jerk reaction + by the way I don't care a whit what you think of me so THERE. F**K OFF DUDE. I'm not in the LEAST charming. Never said I was. Ha ha ha ha.....goodbye...sad you are so sensitive HA! sx". Garbage's Twitter account was hacked earlier this year by a man pretending to be a drunk Shirley Manson. Earlier this year, Manson stopped a gig to reprimand a male fan for hitting a woman in the crowd in New Jersey.

Beyoncé's self-directed documentary about her life will air on HBO, it has been confirmed. The film, which was first rumoured to be in the works back in August, will mix "concert footage with confessional interview". Speaking of her decision to collaborate with the network, Beyoncé said: "HBO has a history of pushing every boundary with class and authenticity. "Some of my favourite shows are on HBO, so I am excited that my film will be part of its bold programming. This film was so personal to me, it had to have the right home." Michael Lombardo, HBO president of programming, added: "Everybody knows Beyoncé's music, but few know Beyoncé the person. "Along with electrifying footage of Beyoncé onstage, this unique special looks beyond the glamour to reveal a vibrant, vulnerable, unforgettable woman." Beyoncé "reflects on the realities of celebrity, the refuge she finds onstage and the transcendent joy of becoming a mother last year" in the film, which will air on 16 February - 13 days after her 2013 Super Bowl half-time performance.* International broadcasting details and dates forthcoming.

Rebel Soul is Kid Rock's finest hour. It's a classic disc in a typical Kid style and it's without a question, the most complete picture of what Kid Rock is as an artist today. As Rolling Stone magazine said: "A sprawling disc of storytelling, pop history and partying, Kid Rock's ninth studio album seeks the grooves and reach of classic soul – with a Detroit bull-god spin, of course. Self-produced in Michigan with his colourful Twisted Brown Trucker Band, this ruggedly consistent and robustly sung music jumps genres and makes statements. Soul, according to Kid Rock, does what it wants." It's kick-ass in your face music that is just sooooo good! Amen!

Mmmm....and we thought Cher has retired, but we were so wrong! The iconic singer has announced that her new single 'Woman's' World' will be released on Monday 26 November. After talking some about her new single 'Woman's World' on Twitter, Cher tweeted that a surprise was to come in "30 minutes". And what a surprise! The legendary pop singer tweeted, "'Womans' World' will be released on Mon". "Mon"? Monday 26 November. She then went on to say that "You'll be able to hear it in 30 minutes". Before the half-hour was over, she tweeted "Happy Thanksgiving!", with a link to cher.warnerreprise.com, where the song is available for streaming. The single was originally expected to be released around January. However, the full demo of the song was leaked recently and prompted the early release of the single. In the works is the music video to the single; Cher wrote, "Working on it now! We thought we had time but 'Woman's' World' started popping all over the world!" We had a listen and yes, it's funky, sounds like a David Guetta produced style track. Have a listen to it HERE!
