Ladysmith Black Mambazo is in apparent talks with popular Hollywood producer Tyler Perry. The group's publicist Andile Mqwebu told journalists that Perry, who has produced films such as The Diary of a Mad Black Woman and For Coloured girls had been approached to assist in the production of the group's film. She is quoted as saying "We are busy with talks to bring Tyler Perry on board. We do not have a concrete deal just yet, but it looks promising, and the people we are speaking to are as excited as we are about the project." The film, which tells the story of the lives of each member of the Grammy award winning group, will feature the likes of Vusi Kunene, who played Jack Mabaso in Generations.
