Swedish pop & rock duo Roxette's 2011 tour of South Africa had such a huge interest, that the band decided to tour South Africa again in 2012. Presenting a one-and-only performance on the 2nd June at the Coca Cola Dome in Johannesburg, 5th June at the ICC Durban Arena in Durban and the 8th June at the Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town, it is a show not to be missed! Roxette members Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle, deliver a seductive mix of romantic ballads and smart pop with tongue-in-cheek lyrics. Starting up in the late ‘80s, their mission was to conquer the world with chart-bursting singles by merging their creative forces – Per had the songs, Marie had the killer voice. Together they would go places, see people and win the cheers of millions of fans throughout the world. Starting off their first World tour with the uber-platinum “Joyride” album in 1991, Roxette was guaranteed to book their spot on the top charts around the world. With classic ballads such as “It Must Have Been Love” and “Listen To Your Heart”, they occupied the dance charts and became one of Sweden’s most loved acts. In February 2011, Roxette kicked off with their first World Tour “Charm School”, since 1995 and fans were treated to an old school joyride of ‘80s and ‘90s music hits. All their shows were completely sold out including seven consecutive South African performances.
