It's a sad day for local music. Artist and singer, Huyser Burger, who collapsed in November due to acute kidney and liver failure, died early on Monday, reports Beeld. Huyse was one of the original members of music group Battery9 who popularised alternative Afrikaans music with an industrial feel in the 1990s. He is also known as a visual artist.
