Timbaland & Missy Elliot |
Rapper and MC Missy 'Misdemeanor' Elliott and hip-hop super star Timbaland are both releasing new solo albums this year, reports Digital Spy. Timbaland, who has previously worked with Justin Timberlake, Madonna and Nelly Furtado, admitted that he and Elliot are readying individual records to be released at the same time. He told Billboard: "Me and Missy are both coming out with our albums at the same time, and it will be in June. "Right now, we're just preparing to get both our videos, our first singles shot at the same time. We want to do it as a movement." Timbaland's new LP will follow up 2009's Shock Value II. Elliot's release will mark her first since 2005's The Cookbook. Last year, the MC was diagnosed with Graves' disease. She insisted: "I feel great. Under my doctor's supervision, I've been off medication for about a year and I'm completely managing the condition through diet and exercise."
