It sounds like a match made in heaven...or in this case, the
bowls of hell. Former Gossip Girl and now famous rocker Taylor Momsen with her
band The Pretty Reckless is supporting goth rocker Marilyn Manson on tour.
Marilyn has just released his new CD, Born Villain. Taylor explained that while
she is a huge fan of his music, she didn't ask him for any career advice,
"'Yeah, he told me to worship Satan!' she joked when asked by Kerrang! metal
magazine if he had imparted any wisdom on her. Taylor also revealed that she
made some sacrifices to tour with Marilyn. The former Gossip Girl actress
cancelled a series of gigs with her own band to support the provocative goth
artist. “I've been a fan since I was very young so to get that call asking us
to open was so exciting. We actually had our own dates planned but we cancelled
a lot of them so we could do it. It's motherf**king Marilyn Manson after all,'
she said. 'It's great seeing him off stage because he's always Marilyn Manson -
what you see is what you get. I don't think he's playing a character.”
