Rapper Jack Parow is invading the Pretoria National
Botanical Garden on Sunday 3 June as part of the Old Mutual Music In The
Gardens series and The Beat is giving five sets of double tickets away for this
event! Jack has turned the local music industry on its head with his funky
rhymes and addictive beats since he released his debut CD in 2009. His music
video for the hit Cooler as Ekke has over two million views on YouTube. His
songs are hits on national radio stations and he has been on prime TV shows and
on covers and centre-folds of publications in South Africa and in Europe. His
second album, Eksie Ou, was released in late last year. Supporting Jack Parow
on the day is Black Cat Bones. These modern day storytellers have a collective
of influences fused together in an audio
diary made up of traditional, as well as modern blues, rock, folk, and
country-inspired music. Their music pays tribute to the founders of these
classic genres while maintaining a modernised presence. Tickets are available
