Usher proves that he is still the reigning king of R&B. With his mantra “Evolve or evaporate”, Usher has evolved in R&B music and Looking 4 Myself is a very good example of this. The record is steeped in high falsetto melodies of Prince and early Michael Jackson, but it isn't a retro CD. In fact, Looking 4 Myself is funky and futuristic that includes club rave-ups, hip-hop ballads, synth pop, funk and more. The songs Climax, Scream and Lemme See are already burning up the charts.
