Nu-metal rockers Linkin Park has recorded an exclusive new music
video for their song Powerless, taken from their new CD Living Things, to be
used in the action adventure movie, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Movie
director Timur Bekmambetov recently filmed the video with the band in Berlin.
“Linkin Park are extraordinary musical artists who combine genres to create
their own sound. It only seems fitting
for us to collaborate with them on this unique film. It was a privilege to work with them on this
music trailer,” said Timur. Linkin Park’s Joe Hahn added, "Timur showed us
the film and we loved it and felt we had a song that would be a great fit with
his movie. We were delighted that Timur came to Berlin to shoot us performing
it so he could mash it up with film footage in a really unique way.” The movie
will be released in cinemas on 9 August. Check out the video for the song - it's AWESOME!
