Elvis Blue's
second album, Journey, is scheduled to be in stores on 13 July 2012. Since Elvis
burst onto the scene in 2011, when he won the sixth season of Idols, he has set
himself apart as an exceptional performer of live music, using some of the best
local musicians to round out his band on stage, insisting on delivering music
with depth to audiences across the country. Elvis is also a dedicated husband
and father besides being a world class musician and a household name in South
Arica. Taking a look back at what this great artist has achieved over the last
15 months, makes it clear that it has been quite a journey. Hence the title of
his second album.
“I decided to call the
album Journey, because the songs on the album where born out of the experiences
I have had over the last 15 months. It has been a great journey – and my hope
is that the people who support me will enjoy these songs and relate to the
stories on the album,” Elvis said. With the release
of Journey, Elvis Blue is gearing up to start the next phase of what has
already been an epic rite of passage – and his fans will be right there with
him.
