British singer Adele was reportedly spotted at Abbey Road Studios last
month, reports Digital Spy. The appearance of the 'Set Fire to the Rain' singer
has fuelled rumours that she has been recording the theme song for upcoming James
Bond film Skyfall, reports The Sun. The soundtrack is reportedly being put
together at the iconic studios by composer Thomas Newman, whose previous
credits include American Beauty, Road to Perdition, The Shawshank Redemption
and WALL.E. Adele has been heavily tipped to be recording the official theme
for the new Bond movie from Sam Mendes, and previously topped a poll ahead of
Muse to find who fans would like the most. Casino Royale theme composer Chris
Cornell recently stated that Adele would be "perfect" for Skyfall.
Adele previously hinted that she may be involved in the film, saying that she
should have a new song released before the end of 2012.
