We were so wishing to see Chris Grohl and his rock band Foo
Fighters soon, but now it seems, we have to shelve that dream. Digital Spy
reports that Dave has revealed that the band plan on "taking a break"
after touring. The group recently performed an end-of-tour gig at the Global
Citizen Festival in Central Park on Saturday (September 29) After the show, he
revealed to The Huffington Post that they plan on going on a long hiatus. He
said: "Without making a big deal out of it, we don't have any shows after
this. This is it, man. "This is the show where we come out and we play as
many songs as we can in a short period of time, because, honestly, I don't know
when we're gonna do it again and this is the perfect place to do it, right now,
tonight." Chris recently downplayed a comment made after the band
performed at Reading Festival, where he said it would be their "last
show" for some time. There is no word yet on exactly how long the band's
hiatus is expected to be.
