REVIEW! iTunes Store South Africa

Now tickle us pink. South African music lovers have received an early Christmas gift with the announcement of the opening of the iTunes South African store. Yes, SA's own iTunes store. For music fanatics like us, this was an opportunity to check it out and see how well it works. And we are amazed at the convenience of bying local and international music! For starters we bought a DJ Naaldekoker song for R6.99 and a Prince CD for R8.99! Cheap! The song selection is amazing and cheap (R6.99 - R8.99) and the CD collection impressive with CDs that are hard to get, like the more mainstream releases. CD prices vary between R69.99 - R89.99 while CDs in a shop is about R169.99. The quality of the music you buy is crystal clear CD quality. With the promise of adding movies and TV shows to the iTunes SA store from next year, things will truly change for entertainment fans.
