UK singer Adele is getting cooking tips from non-other than legendary singer, Barbra Streisand. The Sun reports that the two singers became good friends after performing at this year's Academy Awards, where Adele scooped an Oscar for her Skyfall soundtrack. The British star apparently visited Barbra's Los Angeles home for dinner before the awards show and was treated to a meal - and some food advice. "Adele has got heavily into her cooking during her break from music to have her son and Barbra has always been fanatical about what goes into her food," a source told British newspaper The Sun. "They have been swapping notes about meals ever since they met. "Barbra employs a personal chef to supply her with meals that taste delicious but are also healthy. According to the publication, the two stars remain in touch and are always swapping recipe ideas. Barbra has apparently told friends their close friendship could even mean a musical collaboration is on the cards in the near future. With Adele's colossal success and Barbra's knowledge of the industry they would certainly make a dream team. "Adele finds her company very reassuring because she has been through the whole global fame thing and knows exactly what it's like," the insider continued. The British star has had her hands full recently, looking after young son Angelo. She has also been busy landscaping her garden to create a typical seafront scene in her own backyard.
