Sometimes you get a soundtrack and then you get a
soundtrack. The first is a soundtrack that is especially written for the movie.
Then you get a soundtrack that is not written especially for a movie, but is
rather there to guide listeners to through the movie - weaving a tapestry of
various sounds and colours. That is the case with The Fault In Our Stars
soundtrack. It guides you through the complex storyline. The 16 track CD boasts
talents like Ed Sheeran, Birdy, Lykke Li and Jake Bugg to name a few. It's not
one of the best soundtrack's I've heard before, actually it's a bit depressing,
but if you watch the movie then you can understand why the songs fit in so
perfectly.
