This is the best music news this year! Legendary British
rockers Pink Floyd will release their new album, The Endless River. It will be
the band's first new material in 20 years! The Telegraph reports: "The
record – titled The Endless River – will be a double album consisting of 18 new
tracks. The recordings feature original members David Gilmour, Nick Mason and
the late Richard Wright, who died in 2008. Fourth member Roger Waters left the
group in 1985 and isn't involved with this release. Fans can look forward to
hearing fresh material assembled from their sessions of 14th studio album The
Division Bell, which was released in 1994. In an announcement made on September
22, Gilmour promised that the band have "added in new parts, rerecorded
others and generally harnessed studio technology to make a 21st-century Pink
Floyd album". Amen!
