I was a bit worried about this Slipknot CD. I was worried the band would lose some of
it's 'cool' after the death of founding bassist Paul Grey and long-time drummer
Joey Jordison leaving the band. Luckily I was wrong. This CD is not sugar
coated and not for the fainthearted. It seems the band got renewed energy and
inspiration from Grey's death, digging deep in that well of pain. The CD shows
a depth in emotion and some heavily personal moments. The CD is explosive and
it feels like your guts are ripped apart, but in a good way. 10/10 for .5: The Gray Chapter!
