Placebo drummer leaves band, replacement announced

Indie rockers Placebo's drummer Steve Forrest has left the band. Steve joined the group in 2008 and toured with then on the Battle For The Sun and Loud Like Love tours. The announcement was made on the band's website and reads that the split was "amicable". Steve is leaving so he could focus on his solo work. The statement also read, "Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal would like to thank Steve for all his work with the band and wish him all the very best in his future career." Former Colour Of Fire drummer Matt Lunn is the new drummer for Placebo.
