“One chilled autumn afternoon I had some time on my hands
and started experimenting a bit and ended up with this version of Last Laugh.
Through the creative journey and digging deep into our Eastern roots, we came
out with the same truth as always: “F**k all the cool kids!” Last Laugh was
originally released on my 2012 Gold selling record, ‘Eksie Ou’.There is also a next-level acoustic version
on ‘Nag Van Die Lang Pette’. Last Laugh tells the story of my teens and is a
good introduction to my upcoming book ‘Die Ou Met Die Snor By Die Bar’
(Translation: The guy with the moustache at the bar) as told to Theunis Engelbrecht.
The book will be available nation-wide from September 2015.”
