been locked away in studio recording their upcoming eighth studio album 'Gore'
and it finally drops this April! The band released the album's lead single
'Prayers/Triangles' this month and it has cemented the band as one of the
greatest metal acts in music today. "The songs have a lot of different
moods." Deftones frontman Chino Moreno said on the upcoming album. He also
revealed that this isn't a "happy record," but also "not a
completely angry record". The album drops on the 8th of April, but is
available for pre-order on iTunes here.
