No Doubt |
If you were hoping for a new No Doubt CD by December, we have some bad news - it's not gonna happen this year. The rock group, who reformed in 2009, said that they hoped to release their sixth studio record by Christmas, but admitted that it won't be ready until next year report Digital Spy. No Doubt said in a statement on their official website: "Ideally our new record would be coming out this year but it's just not ready yet. We don't want to rush this album just to get it out. This collection of songs means everything to us and our only priority right now is to make sure that it's the best album we can possibly make. There is still more work for us to do." They continued: "We love our fans and are doing this for your ears and want you to know how much we appreciate your patience and support." Front woman Gwen Stefani recently described the song writing process for the album as "desperate", adding: "We're just praying that something comes out."
