Rumours has is that Britney Spears got engaged on Thursday 15 December to her longtime boyfriend Jason Trawick. According to Billboard.com, Jason popped the question during a romantic dinner with Britney. Although Britney has not officially announced the engagement, she posted on Twitter Friday morning, "OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I've been waiting for. Can't wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo." He is said to have presented her with a Neil Lane featuring a round three carat stone that features pave diamonds on the band, reports Us Weekly. They will put a pre-nuptial agreement into effect before they tie the knot, according to sources. Britney first started Jason in early 2009 following her tumultuous relationship with paparazzo Adnan Ghalib. She says she 'made the first move' on Trawick, who was her then her agent. He stepped down from that role in May this year. They mixed business and pleasure again in September when she cast him to play her love interested in the video for her single Criminal. He was widely credited with helping to steer the star in a positive direction following her 2008 breakdown.
