Kanye West is leading the 54th Grammy Awards nominations with seven nods and Adele showing her stance with six nods; including album, record and song of the year. Joining the brilliant Brit at six nods were Foo Fighters and Bruno Mars; Lil Wayne and Skrillex each received five nods and Nicki Minaj, Rihanna and Mumford & Sons rallied with four nominations. Indie-folk artist Bon Iver - born Justin Vernon - picked up four nominations in total and will face country trio The Band Perry, J Cole, Nicki Minaj and dubstep artist Skrillex in the 'Best New Artist' category. The nominees for 'Album Of The Year', 'Record Of The Year', 'Song Of The Year' and 'Best New Artist' were revealed live on CBS in a broadcast hosted by LL Cool J. Lady GaGa opened the show with a performance of 'Marry the Night' and closed the show alongside Sugarland. Footage from one of Rihanna's recent shows at The O2 was shown and The Band Perry, Usher and Jason Aldean were among those who also performed during the nominations concert. The 54th Grammy Awards will be held at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on 12 February 2012.
