David Furnish and Elton John |
It seems there is one grumpy person out there who is not impressed with Madonna's Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song for 'Masterpiece', taken from her recent directorial offering W.E. Sir Elton John's partner David Furnish has blasted Madonna's win, after her song was chosen instead of his Elton John's Gnomeo & Juliet track 'Hello Hello'. Digital Spy reports that David wrote on Facebook, "Madonna. Best song???? F**k off!!!" he wrote. "Madonna winning 'Best Original Song' truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in it's narcissism. And her critisism of Gaga shows how desperate she really is (sic)." Apparently earlier the evening before the awards, Elton declared that Madonna didn't "have a f**king chance" of winning 'Best Original Song'.
