Linkin Park's new CD cover, Living Things |
Rockers
Linkin Park have unveiled their brand new single
from their upcoming fifth studio album. '
Burn It Down' received an official lyric
video today (April 16), and has been released digitally via iTunes in America.
The band have also confirmed the title and release date for the follow-up to
2010's A Thousand Suns.
Living Things will be released mid June. Digital Spy
reports that other confirmed album tracks include 'Lost In The Echo', 'In My
Remains', 'Castle Of Glass' and 'I'll Be Gone'. Front man Chester Bennington
recently said that 'Burn It Down' encompasses everything they wanted their new
album to achieve. He said: "We've kind of drifted into a lot more kind of
electronic, digital feel, but what's interesting about this record is that a
lot of songs - people might pick up on this - but a lot of the songs kind of
were started as these folk-driven songs. "So there's a very organic
element to the record, as well as a very modern, kind of futuristic element
too. We can't wait for our fans to hear it." Listen to the NEW track
