Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody recently filmed a scene for the 3rd season of Game Of Thrones. On the band's Facebook page, Gary wrote: "So I did my scene this morning for Game Of Thrones. I looked like this. Can't say much - just it's no pivotal role. Fun!" Digital Spy reports that Dame Diana Rigg (The Avengers), Mackenzie Crook (The Office), Tara Fitzgerald (Waking the Dead), Tobias Menzies (Casino Royale), Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Doctor Who) and Ellie Kendrick (Being Human) have all signed up for roles in season three of Game of Thrones. As part of Snow Patrol, Lightbody has released six studio albums. The musician recently revealed that the band had scrapped an entire album's worth of material originally planned for their forthcoming seventh record.
