Canadian pop rocker Avril Lavigne has completed work on her
fifth studio album. Digital Spy reports that the singer, who started work on
the project last June, told fans on Twitter that she is "stoked"
about its upcoming release. "That's a wrap boyz @hodgesmusic and chad
@Nickelback !!! Woo hoo. Super stoked for this record," she wrote. David
Hodges, who used to be in Evanescence, has written for the likes of Kelly
Clarkson and Carrie Underwood. She previously said of the project:
"[Goodbye Lullaby] was more mellow, and the next one will be pop and more
fun again. I already have a song that I know is going to be a single, I just
need to re-record it!"
