Daft Punk
Rapper Kanye West has teamed up with Daft Punk for his new album, reports Digital Spy. The rapper recently confirmed plans to release his sixth studio album later this year and has collaborated with the French producers for the project. "It was very raw. He was rapping - kind of screaming primly, actually," Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter told Rolling Stone. "Kanye doesn't give a f**k," Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo added. "He's a good friend." Meanwhile, frequent Daft Punk collaborator Michel Gondry recently revealed that West had played him material that was a product from the sessions."One of them, I told him it sounded solid and powerful - I envisioned a cube when I heard it," Gondry recalled. "He told me, Chris Cunningham's already directing the video!" Kanye's new collection will serve as the follow-up to 2010's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Daft Punk will release their new album Random Access Memories in May. This is not the first time Daft Punk has worked with Kanye, they collaborated on Kanye's song Stronger.
