South African Music Award Winner, Toya Delazy has announced
auditions for “Team Delazy”, a crew of dancers, musicians and singers who will
perform with her across the country over the next six months. These auditions
will take place in Cape Town on 17 and 18 July 2013. “It’s
important to identify and build the great talent we have at home, and that’s
why I’m holding these auditions. I want everyone to have a fair chance, and to
know that no matter where you’re from, if you believe in your skills it will
take you places,” said Toya. The panel of judges assessing all applicants will
be made up of Toya Delazy, Bash The Beast who is the World Electric Boogie
Champion and Choreographer for Toya, Mary Scary a backing vocalist and Cape
Town Entertainer, Anthony Morgan former Coca-Cola Popstars Judge and a member
of Delazy Entertainment Management and Capello and Thapelo Lekoane, artist
directors who have been involved with Thatch Music and the SAMA 2013. To get involved, applicants can visit www.delazy.com

Those that make the cut will receive an email with all the
final audition information as well as links to Love Is In The Air and Losing My
Love. They’ll then need to work on a 1min30sec performance and wow the judges.
All successful dancers, musicians and singers will receive a six month contract
with Delazy Entertainment. “Team Delazy will get the opportunity to travel the
country and perform on stages across the continent. Who knows, we might even go
international,” said Toya.
