Madonna has announced plans to release her 'Secret Project'
next week reports Digital Spy. The singer has teamed up with Steven Klein for a
17-minute long short film, which will be released as a free download for fans
on 24 September. "My goal is to show by the example of
secretprojectrevolution my creative commitment to inspire change in the world
through artistic expression," Madonna stated. "I hope my film and
other submissions to Art for Freedom will be a call to action and give people a
place to voice their own creative expression to help fight oppression,
intolerance and complacency." Elaborating on the film, Klein added that it
deals with "our private prisons. It questions what we do, how we do it and
how we treat others. "It questions our governments, and our collective
thought patterns. Think about it – the power of art can lead to peace."
Klein is a celebrated photographer who has previously worked with Madonna on
visuals for her 'Re-Invention', 'Confessions' and 'Sticky & Sweet' world
tours. The artist more recently collaborated with Lady Gaga for her 'Alejandro'
music video and Fame perfume advert, and Rihanna for an Armani jeans campaign.
