SIZZELING & COLOURFUL! Pretoria Neon Run with 5MF featuring the hottest local music with Shortstraw and Beatenberg
The city of Pretoria is set to come alive on Saturday the 15
of November, when South Africa’s most electric night-run, the Pretoria Neon
Run, powered by 5FM hits your streets. This neon-extravaganza takes place at
Supersport Park and will see participants run, walk, cycle or skate a 5km route
at night covered in neon accessories and body paint. Join thousands of
energetic runners, joggers, cyclists, skateboarders and walkers all decked out
in neon paraphernalia and manoeuvre through an exciting route of glow stations
before celebrating at the post-race party with a dazzling laser light show and
a line-up of some of South Africa’s top DJs and musicians. Gates open at 15:00
with music throughout the event. 5FM DJs Roger Goode, Poppy and Rob Forbes are
guaranteed to get your pulse racing and the party started and if you’re into
live performances, then you’re in for a treat with two local chart-toppers,
Shortstraw and Beatenberg performing on the night as well. Get pumped up with
indie rock band Shortstraw- who are well known for getting the crowd dancing
and enjoy catchy tunes by Beatenberg- the fresh new face of pop music in SA!
Although the race only starts at 18h30, you’re encouraged to get there early so
that you don’t miss a minute of the exciting line-up. A beer tent and food
stalls are available. The cost is R230 per person, under 11s pay R90 while if
four people or more book the price is R190 a person. Ticket prices include all
