Fans of SA’s ‘Godfather of Soul’ are in for a treat today as
RJ Benjamin releases a new digital EP titled ‘The 5th Story’ today, 5 December.
The muso, singer, songwriter, vocal coach, musical director and all round
musical genius had been quiet on the music release scene for a while, focusing
on all his television Musical Direction commitments, however, after a sizzling
performance on the Idols SA finale stage on 23 November 2014, which saw him
trending Worldwide on Twitter, Idols host ProVerb mentioned RJ’s new album
would be available soon.... which surprised a few but excited many! Leading
with the new single, ‘Only Ever Loved
You’ ft. Ziyon - ‘The 5th Story’ EP, consisting of 5-tracks which includes
collaborations by Can SkyLark, ProVerb and Ziyon, is a build up to his 5th solo
album which will be released in 2015. For the soul fans, the die-hard RJ
Benjamin fans and just lovers of good, beautiful music – this one’s for you!
