Kurt Cobain |
It has been revealed that Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain was
working on a solo album at the time of his death, reports music-news. Hole
guitarist Eric Erlandson tells Fuse.TV that the record would have been Kurt's
'White Album' (a reference to the creative Beatles double album). In the
interview to promote his new book 'Letters To Kurt', Erlandson said, "Kurt
was headed in a direction that was really cool. It would have been his White
Album." Kurt also covered a well-know song for the project but Erlandson
would not say which one. "That's really what he was going towards, a solo
album but working with different people. I was really excited about some of the
stuff he was working on. I got to see him play it in front of me. That's why I
was really sad when he died. I was like, 'Oh man, not only are you cutting off
a life, but a message to the world. He was cut short. Who knows where the music
would have gone," he continued. At present there are currently no plans
for the release of Kurt's demos.
