The results have been announced. Dr Dre has topped Forbes'
2014 hip-hop rich list with pre-tax earnings of $620 million. Digital Spy
reports that the rapper, who sold off his Beats brand to Apple earlier this
year, is worth "more than the rest of the Top 25 combined. Jay Z and Diddy
are tied in 2nd place on the 2014 Hip-Hop Cash Kings list with earnings of $60
million between June 2013 and June 2014." It's further reported that Drake
is the 4th highest paid hip-hop artists with "earnings of $33 million over
the last 12 months. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis complete this year's top 5
with combined earnings of $32 million."
