Red hot music from Red Hot Chili Peppers

Ah, at last! Some new music from one of The Beat's favourite rock band, The Red Hot Chili Peppers. The band return (with a new guitarist) with new single The Adventure of Rain Dance Maggie, takens from the forthcoming album, I'm With You, due out 30 August. "Hey now, you'ge to make it rain somehow," Chili leadsinger Anthony Kiedis sings on the upbeat funk track, which recalls the group's Danie California song. Josh Klinghoffer, the band's former touring guitarist who has replaced John Frusciante full-time, fits in nicely on this track, with his screeching riffs contrasting with Flea's bass lines and the use of a cowbell at the end of the song.
