Adele leads the way

British singer Adele is in the lead for the 2011 American Mmusic Awards with four nominations including artist of the year and favorite album for her latest, 21. Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, The Band Perry and Taylor Swift each saw three nods while Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Chris Brown, Jason Aldean, Kanye West, LMFAO, Nicki Minaj and Pitbull collected two nominations. Katy Perry and Pitbull are also going to perform at the event. The awards are taking place on Sunday 20 November in Los Angeles.
