Split Peas?

The Black Eyed Peas
The Black Eyed Peas are apparently heading for splitsville. Reports suggested that the group is about to announce they have split. The group will allegedly release a statement to their fans later this week after they pulled out of their headline slot for this weekend's Michael Jackson tribute concert in Cardiff, Wales. Despite confirming their indefinite hiatus in July, the four-piece were confirmed to play the Jackson gig just last month, as well as performing a free concert in New York City for charity last week. A source told The Mirror: "Pulling out of this weekend's gig is the final curtain call for them - especially as they're all such huge Jacko fans. "Things have been taking a turn for the worse over the past few months but this signals the end." Band member will.i.am recently denied claims that the group were about to split after Kanye West said, "rest in peace to the Black Eyed Peas. You're gonna be missed" during a concert in the US. Since their mainstream breakthrough album Elephunk in 2003, the Black Eyed Peas - which also include Fergie, Taboo and Aple.de.ap - have sold over 56 million records worldwide.
