Black Sabbath back with new album & world tour

Black Sabbath back in the day
Heavy metal band Black Sabbath have announced that they are reforming for a new album and a world tour, reports Digital Spy. The rock band held a news conference in Los Angeles to reveal their plans to perform at the Download Festival in England in June 2012 followed by a global tour. The album, to be produced by Rick Rubin, will be the band's first new studio album in 33 years. The news was also confirmed on the band's official Twitter and a special announcement video taking a look back at the band's music career. Last month, lead singer Ozzy Osbourne said that there was a "strong possibility" that the band would reunite. "It's in the very early stages, so we haven't recorded anything yet. If it works out, it'll work out. If it doesn't, I'll keep doing my thing," Osbourne said. The band's guitarist Tony Iommi had said that he is willing to work with Osbourne again for a new album.
