The (Backstreet) Boys are back

The Backstreet Boys
It seems there is no stopping boy band The Backstreet Boys! The boy band, or rather man band as they are all grown-up and adults now, have announced that they will record a new CD in 2012. Digital Spy reports the 'I Want It That Way' boyband had previously revealed exclusively to Digital Spy in October their plans for an eighth studio LP. Singer Howie Dorough told Clevver Music: "That's one of the things that we're going to be happening this next year, is we're going to be in the studio working on a new record." Dorough, who is joined in the group by Brian Littrell, Nick Carter and AJ McLean, went on to emphasise the importance of each new record sounding fresh. "That's always the challenge working on new albums; trying to push the envelope, trying to always top the last album. But that's what we do," the star continued. "That's one of the reasons why we take our time to make the record the best it can be. To not rush it and to keep your finger on the pulse of what's hot."
