Justin Bergh
Singer and songwriter Justin Bergh has expanded his talent and will be collaborating with Afrikaans artists to co-write new material with them. The first collaboration is with 2010 Idols top 5 finalist Adeline Mocke on her debut single, Stukkies, which is currently on radio rotation. “I have been following trends in Afrikaans music for quite a while and after following Adeline in last year's Idols and meeting her in person, her special presence and enthusiastic vision urged me to take the leap and expand my song writing capabilities into this market,” said Justin Bergh, who has a strong track record for writing excellent songs for some of his well-known hits including Love The Sinner, Not The Sin, No Ordinary World, Here With You and Out Of My Hands. “I am very excited about collaborating with artists in the Afrikaans sphere and really look forward to putting together some great melodies and lyrics with them." Justin shot to fame in 2000 with his debut album Love The Sinner and the hit No Ordinary World featured on the Big Brother soundtrack. His following album Out of My Hands received a SAMA nomination and boasted several charting hits. Justin performed the South African National Anthem to 85,000 rugby fans at Twickenham in 2006 and was personally invited by the now Princess of Monaco to perform at her 30th birthday that same year. His song Special was used by American Cable Giant Showtime to advertise their satellite Network in 2007. Justin toured South Africa as Bryan Adams’ support act in 2010 and recorded the Adams-penned Miss America, which was lay listed on most national radio stations.
