Garbage unveils new video

Garbage
Rockers Garbage have debuted the music video for 'Blood for Poppies' during a live chat with fans through online service UStream, reports Digital Spy.  Speaking to Spinner, singer Shirley Manson revealed that the video draws inspiration from artists such as René Magritte and Luis Buñuel."We hopped around Los Angeles creating a gorgeous surrealist dream," Manson said. "We ate ice cream sandwiches in the sunshine and laughed a lot. I didn't want the shoot to end." 'Blood for Poppies' is the first single from Garbage's upcoming album Not Your Kind of People, which will be self-released via the band's own record label. Speaking of this decision, the band wrote on their Facebook page: "We have had our fill of greedy corporate interest. We don't like how they do business. This time we are going to do it our way."
