Hot Concerts and more hot concerts!

Seether
With Linkin Park just announced their first even visit to our shores, the other big concert of the year is Lady Gaga (30 Nov & 3 Dec) at the next of the year. So you are probably wondering, is that it? Well, not so! 80s Pop outfit OMD is in South Africa on 2 and 5 August (yep, that next week!) playing at Emperor's Palace and Grand West. The band is well-known for hits like If You Leave, Enola Gay, Joan Of Arc, So In Love, Dreaming and many more. Local rockers The Parlotones is bringing their This Our Story to Teatro At Montecasino from 3 August. Rock group Switchfoot is visiting our shores on 8 and 12 August with shows at the Big Top Arena at Carnival City and Grand West in Cape Town. If you like your music more smooth, then American R&B and Soul singer-songwriter Anthony Hamilton is playing Ellis Park Indoor Arena, Cape Town's Convention Centre and Durban's Wavehouse from 16 - 19 August. Ex-South Africans and now international rock super stars Seether is returning to South Africa for the Oppikoppi festival, and for those missing them, the band will play with Bullet For My Valentine, KONGOS, and Enter Shikari at Grand West in Cape Town on Thursday 9 August as part of the One Night Only concert. 80s fans can look forward to Rick Astley, Belinda Carlisle, ABC, Imagination, Nik Kershaw and Tony Hadley from Spandue Ballet igniting Cape Town's Grand West on 31 October as part of the 80s Rewind concert. R&B hero John Legend is back with a once-off performance at the Sandton Convention Centre on 10 August.
