Willow Smith in here new music video
Willow Smith has released a music video for a new track called 'I Am Me'. The 11-year-old performer broke into the music scene in 2010 with her hit single 'Whip My Hair'. In her new video, posted on her official YouTube account, the young entertainer sings: "I am me/Your validation is just not that important to me." Jodi Jill from The Examiner wrote that Willow definitely got the fans attention when she showed up on the red carpet of the BET Awards 2012. The traditional award show held at the Shrine Auditorium in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday had fans screaming like crazy when Willow Smith arrived. However, she didn’t share her big surprise until she talked on the BET Awards show pre-show. Announcing that she had a world premiere, the singer released I Am Me for her fans. "Willow Smith definitely caters to the younger crowd, but the entertainer’s latest single definitely will have everyone’s attention. Her lyrics focused on how she appreciates her individuality and how her fans should be individual too. Talking back to her critics, her prose definitely shared her frustrations on being judged for what she wears and how she lives. It seemed the song was perfect for the BET Awards."
