The album will be hitting the shelves in the beginning of November 2012. South Africa's leading Afrikaans alternative pop group describes this album as “a good hybrid between the previous two albums”. Die Heuwels Fantasties and Wilder as die Wildtuin both reached Gold Status in sales. Die Heuwels Fantasties rented a house in Hout Bay for three months to write and record the album. Pierre Greeff en Hunter Kennedy wrote the lyrics and together with Fred den Hartog, they wrote the music. Fred does all the programming during the production phase. Afterwards they recorded violins, accordion, saxophone and piano with some friends in Stellenbosch. Johnny de Ridder is currently busy mixing the tracks and adding his production magic at his studio. Their first hit off the album, Beloofde Land, already has the airwaves buzzing country-wide. Listen to it HERE!
