Glam pop disco outfit Scissor Sisters have announced an indefinite hiatus from
music reports Digital Spy. At a gig in London Jake Shears told the crowd:
"This will be the last time we will play in London for quite some
time." Ana Matronic thanked their fans, stating that the UK audience were
"the ones who got us first - and always get us best". After the
performance, the band confirmed to Gigwise that they currently have no plans to
return to the studio, with guitarist Del Marquis revealing that he is currently
working on solo material. However, Ana Matronic also reassured fans that this
was not necessarily the end of Scissor Sisters altogether, saying: "Don't
