The devastating Hurricane Sandy that wreaked havoc in New York, also affected Jon Bon Jovi, lead singer of the rock group Bon Jovi. Jon, who is touring South Africa with his band next year in May, as personally affected by the natural disaster when his family got stranded in flooded New York. Music-new.com reported that the rocker cancelled a promotional tour of the UK to rush to the side of his wife Dorothea and their four children. 'There is no power, water, the devastation is off the charts. The president is in my hometown in New Jersey because of the damage. It's like Armageddon,' Jon said. He and Bruce Springsteen are headlining a concert for the victims of Hurricane Sandy tomorrow. NBC Universal's TV networks, including NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, Bravo, E!, Style Network and G4 will air the charity gig featuring artists who are connected to the areas hit by the devastating storm. New Jersey natives Jon and Bruce, native New Yorker Billy Joel, New York City resident Sting and Christina Aguilera, a coach on NBC's The Voice, are all set to perform. Titled Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together, the special will stream live on NBC.com as we in South Africa won't be able to see the show on TV.
