Kris Kross singer dies at age of 34

It's yet another sad day in music as it came to light that Kris Kross star Chris Kelly has died at the age of 34. Kelly formed one half of the 1990s kid rap duo, who are best known for their hit song 'Jump'. He was found unresponsive on Wednesday evening (May 1) inside his Atlanta home, the Fulton County Medical Examiner confirmed to Billboard. He was pronounced dead at Atlanta Medical Centre at around 20:00. A cause of death has not been established and no further details have been released. Kelly - who rapped under the name Mac Daddy - featured in Kris Kross alongside Chris 'Daddy Mac' Smith. 'Jump', from the 1992 album Totally Krossed Out, spent eight weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US and reached number two in the UK singles chart.
