The Beat have 5 double tickets to the major MTV Africa All Stars
featuring Snoop Lion and 10 of Africa’s finest to give away, courtesy of MTV
Africa! Celebrating the growing power and appeal of African contemporary music,
and to make sure the global spotlight is focused firmly on Durban, home to some
of South Africa’s biggest stars, MTV Base and KwaZulu-Natal have joined forces
to create the MTV Africa All Stars KwaZulu-Natal with Snoop Lion – a stunning,
5-hour open air concert at Moses Mabhida Stadium, People’s Park Durban on 18
May. Entertainment icon and multi-platinum artist Snoop Lion, aka Snoop Dogg,
will headline the concert, alongside South Africa’s Zakes Bantwini and
Professor, 2Face and Flavour from
Nigeria, Congo’s Fally Ipupa and a host of other contemporary greats from all
over the continent. Snoop, the legendary
rapper, singer-songwriter, producer, actor and reality star turned reggae
artist, will perform a stunning set featuring tracks from his greatest hip hop
hits interspersed with his new, “Reincarnated” reggae-flavoured repertoire.
Tickets to the event are only R40, but The Beat and MTV Africa are giving 5
double tickets away. Just EMAIL your details (name, surname, age, contact
information) with the name of ONE of the performers before Thursday 16 May. Put in the subject line, MTV AFRICA.
