Robert Pattinson is reportedly strumming his
pain away, reports muside-news.com. The 27-year-old British actor has suffered
a lot of romantic drama recently. After breaking up with his long-term
girlfriend Kristen Stewart he was rumoured to have sparked up a romance with
singer Katy Perry. Apparently Katy wants to reignite a relationship with her
ex-boyfriend John Mayer, leaving Robert out in the cold. Robert is looking to
his guitar to cope with heartache. "Rob's always had half a mind on his
music, but when his film career and relationship with Kristen both took off at
the same time, something else had to give, a source told British newspaper The
Sun. "He's really enjoyed picking up his guitar again properly and it has
given him something to focus on during the break-up." Although he loves
music Robert isn't looking to establish a career. He's only playing guitar for
fun. "Everyone's saying that he's really talented, but he's adamant we'll
only be seeing him in films for the time being," the insider said. Robert
and former Twilight co-star Kristen split up following the brunette's affair
with married director Rupert Sanders. It is rumoured Katy served as a shoulder
to cry on shortly after Robert's relationship with Kristen crumbled. Now that
Katy has her sights on ex-beau John, Robert is out to sea emotionally.
"Rob feels jilted yet again. Since leaving Kristen he's felt so lost and
having Katy to lean on was a huge comfort," a source explained to British
magazine Star. "But now she and John are considering reuniting, he feels
he can't turn to her anymore. There are few people he can confide in and trust
right now, so this has left him pretty deflated."
