Screaming rock singers! Rocking the Daisies organisers announced on Tuesday that UK rock band Skunk Anansie and Swedish rock band The Hives will be joining this year's festival line-up, reports Channel24.co.za. A photo together with the following message was posted on the official Rocking the Daisies Facebook page: "International kick-ass legends Skunk Anansie and The Hives set to play at Rocking the Daisies 2013, making this year one of the biggest international line-up’s to rock the South African festival scene! Spread the word!" This year the festival will kick-off from 3-6 October at the Cloof Wine Estate in Darling. The festival will also see UK indie rockers Alt-J perform and after a sold-out weekend last year, organisers are going above and beyond to ensure another successful event. Reuniting after an eight-year hiatus, Skunk Anansie released their fifth studio album Black Traffic in 2012. The band are known for hits such as Charity, Hedonism, Selling Jesus and Weak. Skunk Anansie consist of members Skin (lead vocals), Cass (guitar, bass, backing vocals), Ace (guitar, backing vocals) and Mark Richardson (drums and percussion).
